A simple and economical solution to this problem is the addition of a Turners Select® Spindle Adapter, which makes it possible to use various chucks and faceplates on multiple lathes and eliminate the expense of duplicating tooling.
When ordering your spindle adapter, be sure to verify the correct spindle size of your lathe.
The "From" size is the lathe spindle on which the adapter is to be mounted. The "To" size is the thread size of the chuck/faceplate to be threaded onto the adapter. In other words, the first size listed is the female thread, the second size listed is the male thread.
