Robust Nitrided M2 Spear Scraper - Unhandled
The Robust Spear Scraper is a specialty tool designed for shear scraping the exterior of convex surfaces like bowls and hollow forms. Radiused corners on the underside of the tool aid in the shear scraping process. This spear scraper also excels at creating clean detail lines on bowls and platters using the long point. The heavy cross-section adds overall stability and inspires confidence when cutting.
Made from heat-treated M2 High-Speed steel that is “Nitrided” using carbon and nitrogen to significantly increase wear resistance. To maintain the nitrided cutting surface on the top side of the tool, only sharpen the bottom bevel. Sold unhandled. Made in USA.
