Because there isn't a barrel trimmer to fit every pen, there are times when you have to make an adapter so that your trimmer will fit the pen you're making. Mount the Apprentice™ Barrel Trimmer Adapter Blank on your pen mandrel and turn to fit the inside diameter of the barrel you wish to trim. Remove the turned adapter from the pen mandrel and slide it onto the 7mm shaft of your barrel trimmer. You now have a custom fit pilot shaft that allows you to accurately trim your odd sized barrels.
